Trumpeter Herb Robertson passed away ********* (◞‸◟)Way too early.
We worked together for almost a decade. Recording, playing and travelling all over Europe and even Syria..
Playing with Herb always blew my mind. ...we made so much music together. Some of the finest moments were with Evan Parker on "The Trees" and as a duo on the album NOD. He was always just in the right place, kicking in when you needed it, taking improvisation to new levels. ..from the first time i heard him play I knew that the world would be so much better with more Herb in it.
At an important point he was extremely generous and made a huge impact. I learned so much from him. He became my mentor and friend.
Listen to his playing and his rare beautiful spirit.... I am sure he will continue to inspire and make a wonderful noise where he is going...
Safe travels Herb. I'll miss you.

Mathilde FalchI 2024 udgav jeg mit sjette album “Hvert Sekund”, som altid har jeg udgivet det selv på mit eget lille pladeselskab. Sangene har jeg skrevet alene på min guitar eller på mit miniflygel der står i mit køkken. Jeg tog sangene med til Svendborg, i studiet med Mads Brinch, som er min ven gennem mange år og som danner par og familie med mit bandmedlem og næreste ven, Charlotte Schultz. Mads og jeg havde et virkelig godt samarbejde og tid til at prøve mange ting og lyde af i studiet. På pladen medvirker mine faste bandmedlemmer Adam Winberg, Una Skott og Charlotte Schultz.
