Adding Your Releases on Sleeve
Adding Your Releases on Sleeve
Releasing your music on Sleeve is simple. Here’s how to upload, customize, and share your releases with fans.
Step 1: Add Release Information
Start by filling out the essentials:
- Title: Give your release a name that sets the tone for what fans are about to hear.
- Release Date: Choose when your release drops… or note if it’s already out.
- Description: Share the story. Talk about the inspiration, the mood, or what makes this release special. It’s your chance to build anticipation.
Step 2: Set Release Access
Decide how fans can experience your release:
- Streaming Access: Choose which membership tiers can stream your release in full. If streaming is disabled, fans will only hear short track previews (on by default, but you can turn them off per track).
- Purchasable Content: Add a price to let fans buy and own your release.
This gives you control over who can listen, who can buy, and how fans at different tiers engage with your music.
Step 3: Upload Cover Art
Complete your release with great visuals:
-
Formats: JPG, PNG, or GIF
-
Size: Square image, at least 1000 × 1000 px (we recommend 1500 × 1500 px for best results)
Click Upload to select your image and make your release stand out.
Step 4: Upload Tracks
Bring your music to life:
-
Audio Quality: Upload lossless files like .wav, .aif, or .flac (max 600MB per track).
Don’t have lossless? No problem… we’ll make sure your tracks still sound great.
-
Lyrics: Optional, but fans love to follow along.
-
Credits: Recognize everyone who contributed to the music.
-
ISRC / ISWC Codes: Add these if you have them for proper tracking and rights management.
-
Previews: Previews are on by default so fans can hear a snippet of each track when streaming or purchase is off… but you can turn them off individually if you want to keep certain tracks exclusive.
Pro Tips
