Pages, embeds, and a moving portrait

Three new things, all about making your site do more of the work.

Pages

Pages are for the parts of your site that aren't music... a press kit, an FAQ, a run of tour dates, a note on how to book you. A page is a real part of your site with its own address, so you can hand out the link on its own, and it's written in the same editor you use for posts.

Publishing a page doesn't automatically drop it in your nav... some pages are meant to be linked from a post or an email, not to sit up top forever. When you do want one there, you've got three slots between Live and Join: one page becomes a straight link, two or more become a named dropdown ("Tour," say), and a page with a long title can carry a short nav name so "Frequently asked questions about the spring tour" sits up there as "FAQ." Pages come with a paid plan.

Embeds

Embeds take pieces of your Sleeve page and put them on another site ... your own, a label page, a tour blog... and they stay in sync, so a change on Sleeve changes everywhere you've placed it.

There are five: a full release page with a working player, a compact release player for a sidebar, a single post, your membership tiers with a join button, and a profile-and-newsletter block that drops anyone who signs up straight onto your Sleeve list. Paste the embed code into Squarespace, Webflow, WordPress, or a hand-built site... or often just paste the plain link and the site turns it into the same widget on its own. Embeds are on every plan.

A profile video

A profile video lets the photo at the top of your home page be a short silent loop instead... a moving portrait, not a clip with a beginning and end. Keep it under 30 seconds, keep your subject centered (the top crops to a square), and know the audio is removed, not muted. Take it down and your photo comes back exactly as it was. Also on every plan.
